Community Guidelines

In order to foster a vibrant and constructive community, we ask all members to follow the below guidelines when interacting with Arclane Strategy Circle members. Any member in violation of these guidelines will be removed from the community.

1. Maintain Confidentiality

Community members highly value their privacy and share experiences and expertise in the trust that their privacy will be respected. Similarly, Arclane Strategy Circle promises outside experts and deal sponsors that their information will be treated with discretion. The identity of members, content of discussions, and information regarding deals or deal sponsors must not be shared outside the community.

2. No Solicitation

Arclane Strategy Circle aims to foster a “safe space” for authentic relationships and unbiased peer insights. Solicitation of any kind is strictly prohibited, ensuring members can interact without feeling pressured by sales or promotional activities. 3. Direct Investments Only

Members may only participate in investment opportunities through Arclane Strategy Circle that are shared and vetted by the community or its team. This approach ensures transparency, alignment with Arclane Strategy Circle’s purpose, and equitable access for members.

4. Respect and Positivity

Arclane Strategy Circle is built on respect, trust, and shared values. Every member has been selected for their personal accomplishments and commitment to the community. Discussions and in person interactions should reflect these principles, fostering a respectful environment even when perspectives differ. Disagreements are welcome, but personal attacks or questioning others’ motives or intellectual rigor is not. Steer clear of divisive topics like politics or religion unless discussing how to navigate current policies or their potential evolution. All members are expected to respect personal space, physically and emotionally, especially in social settings such as retreats, dinners, or informal meetups. 

5. Use Real Names

All members are required to use their real names and identities within the community. This transparency enhances trust and the quality of discussions, reinforcing the authenticity of Arclane Strategy Circle interactions.


No Solicitation Policy

Effective January 2025

Our no-solicitation policy aims to cultivate a thriving community at Arclane Strategy Circle, free from intrusive sales tactics, while acknowledging the value of members serving as resources for one another. This policy seeks to maintain the confidentiality and unbiased environment for discussions for which Arclane Strategy Circle is known.

One of the core reasons for the creation of Arclane Strategy Circle was to foster a “safe space” community focused on peer insights and authentic relationships, where members are not exposed to nor feel pressured to buy any products or services. This remains a guiding principle today, as our community has expanded significantly. Members should expect no financial gain from their interactions within the community.

Definition of Solicitation:

Solicitation is defined as any direct or indirect attempt to promote or sell goods, services, investment opportunities, or any other commercial venture to Arclane Strategy Circle members. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Direct Messages: Sending messages that promote services, consulting, products, or businesses to other members via the Arclane Strategy Circle platform or contacting any Arclane Strategy Circle Member via any other platform (i.e. X, LinkedIn, etc)

  • Veiled Promotion: Initiating topics, asking questions, or sharing services, products, messages, or links with the intent of driving interest or business

  • Promotional Content: Posting advertisements or promotional content in community forums or discussions

  • Contact Harvesting: Using Arclane Strategy Circle to generate leads or build a customer base or collecting contact information of members 

  • Financial Relationship: Obtaining customers for managing new capital (i.e. investment opportunities, wealth management, etc) or seeking any donation opportunities

  • Business Relationship: Seeking and/or obtaining customers, clients, paid referrals for services including but not limited to wealth advisory, accounting, life insurance, real estate, or others related to product & services.

Permitted Knowledge Sharing:

Arclane Strategy Circle encourages members to act as resources for one another by sharing their knowledge and experience, keeping in mind the above definition of solicitation. This includes:

  • Responding to requests for recommendations or advice.

  • Offering expertise and insights relevant to ongoing discussions.

  • Connecting with members organically based on shared interests or professional backgrounds.

Transparency and Disclosure:

To maintain transparency and trust, members must:

  • Disclose their professional background and expertise when relevant to a discussion.

  • Openly acknowledge any potential conflicts of interest when engaging in conversations.

Examples:

Permitted:

  • A member responds to a forum post that asks for product recommendations by suggesting a product he or she has experience with and explaining why the product is recommended. If they have a business or invested interest in the product, it must be disclosed in the response.

  • A member responds to a forum post asking for recommendations for tax advisors by suggesting a professional (Non-Arclane Strategy Circle Member) they have personally worked with.

  • A member shares their experience and insights regarding starting a business in response to a member’s question.

Prohibited:

  • A member directly messages another member offering their financial advisory services.

  • A member consistently steers conversations towards their own business ventures.

Reporting Violations:

  • Members are encouraged to report any suspected violations of this policy. Reports can be submitted (anonymously) via the tools in the platform, directly messaging a member of the Arclane Strategy Circle team, or emailing support@ArclaneStrategyCircle.com.

Moderation Process:

  • Arclane Strategy Circle reserves the right to enforce and improve the No Solicitation Policy as needed to protect the purpose and values of the Arclane Strategy Circle Community. 

  • Decisions regarding solicitation content (posts, DMs, emails, and all other Arclane Strategy Circle communication between members) will be decided by the Arclane Strategy Circle Member Moderation Committee, consisting of upstanding members of the Arclane Strategy Circle community.

Consequences:

  • Members violating this policy will be removed from the community.

Policy Review:

  • This policy will be reviewed and updated periodically to ensure it remains relevant and effective in fostering a thriving community.
